Post Stamps
Bad Salzuflen is a town and a thermal spa in the Lippe district of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. Since August 2013, the former state spa of Salzuflen has been certified as a Kneipp health resort and since 2015 the city has been certified as an “allergy-friendly municipality”. Historically, it is one of the oldest salt extraction sites in the German-speaking region. The characteristic brine springs give the region the name of “Germany’s healing garden”.
Bad Salzuflen has a long tradition as a spa resort with its many mineral and brine springs: Nine healing springs in Bad Salzuflen guarantee health, vitality and wellness.
I wanted to create postage stamps that symbolize these characteristics in a modern way. The strength and the softness should both be taken into consideration and, combined with fitting visual illustrations, embody the spirit of the town.
